Reproductive Medicine & Fertility Psychology Support
If you’re experiencing fertility challenges, IVF, pregnancy loss, or the emotional changes of perimenopause and menopause, you don’t have to face it alone.
Fertility and reproductive health journeys can be deeply emotional and complex — often bringing moments of hope and excitement alongside stress, grief, uncertainty, and difficult decisions.
At J&R Clinical Psychologists, we understand that these experiences are not just medical — they touch every part of life, including identity, relationships, future plans, and mental health.
Compassionate, Evidence-Based Support
Led by Louise Buck, Clinical Psychologist and ANZICA-registered fertility counsellor, we offer reproductive medicine services that provide compassionate, evidence-based support for individuals and couples at any stage of their reproductive journey.
Areas of Support
We offer psychological support for individuals and couples navigating:
- diagnoses such as endometriosis, PCOS, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI), vaginismus, azoospermia, perimenopause, menopause and post-menopause
- infertility and treatment pathways (ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, genetic testing)
- adjustment to ceasing fertility treatment when this is not by choice
- fertility preservation (both medical and social)
- donor conception and solo parenthood by choice
- pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and terminations for medical reasons (TFMR)
- the transition to parenthood and adjustment during the postpartum period
How Therapy Can Help
Our therapy provides a safe, validating space to explore loss, manage uncertainty, and strengthen emotional wellbeing.
The goal is to help individuals and couples move through these significant life stages with compassion, resilience, and a sense of agency.
