I’m a clinical psychologist with experience working with children, young people, and adults as they navigate life’s many challenges. No matter your age or where you are in life, making sense of things, healing, and making changes is not something we need to do alone.
My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing upon trauma-informed and relational ways of working. It is grounded in warmth, compassion, genuine curiosity, and attunement to aim to better understand you and your internal world.
I aim to create a space with you that feels safe and supportive, meets you where you are, and helps you connect with your core self, navigate your world, and take steps in ways that feel meaningful to you. Working collaboratively, we can gently explore how your past experiences have shaped your story, your strengths, and what change might look for you – including how you might like to think, feel, act, and connect with others differently.
As part of my practice as a clinical psychologist, I draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches, tailored to your pace and goals, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), trauma-focused CBT, mentalisation-based therapy (MBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR).
My work has a particular focus on complex trauma, supporting children, young people, and adults who have experienced trauma related to abuse and neglect, as well as children and young people in child protection or out-of-home care. I can also provide support with a range of other areas and challenges, including:
- Posttraumatic stress and trauma-related difficulties, including complex trauma
- Emotional and behavioural regulation difficulties
- Anxiety and related difficulties
- Depression and low mood
- Self-esteem and self-compassion
- Adjustments to life transitions or changes
- Relational and interpersonal difficulties
- Parenting challenges
- Grief and loss
