I’m a clinical psychologist and accredited psychotherapist who provides a warm, friendly and collaborative space for healing and growth. My interpersonal style is relaxed, gentle and non-judgmental. I validate your here-and-now experience whilst collaborating with you to bring about positive change. Working with adults, children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, my treatment areas include:
- Trauma
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Stress/adjustment difficulties
- Low self-esteem
- Grief and loss
- Relationship difficulties and couples therapy
- Sleep issues
- Health concerns
- Family conflict
My treatment focus is person-centered and humanistic, addressing the whole person. Some of the approaches I utilise include: schema therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), couples therapy, trauma-focused approaches such as internal family systems (IFS) and EMDR, as well as mindfulness-based and experiential therapies. I have a particular interest in the treatment of trauma across the lifespan.
I believe in bringing my authentic self to the way I engage with my clients, and use a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approach.
I completed postgraduate training in Clinical Psychology at Edith Cowan University, and hold additional training in counselling and psychotherapy, behavioural sleep medicine, and gestalt therapy. I have previous experience in varied roles including hospital mental health settings, child protection and private practice.
