My aim is to help clients build authentic and fulfilling lives. This often starts with us working to make sense of yourself and your experiences, and cultivating self-compassion. We work collaboratively together on what is important for you. I strive to provide a warm and nonjudgemental space that is neuro-affirming and culturally responsive.
I’ve been working at Jeffery & Ree Clinical Psychologists since 2022 and I work with people across the lifespan across a range of presenting concerns, such as:
- Mood difficulties including depression: low mood, loss of motivation, hopelessness, and difficulty enjoying life.
- Anxiety: excessive worry, overthinking, social anxiety, panic, and difficulty coping with uncertainty.
- Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD): intrusive thoughts, compulsions, checking, reassurance-seeking, and perfectionism.
- Trauma responses and PTSD: the impact of difficult or distressing experiences, including ongoing emotional and relationship difficulties.
- Self-esteem: self-criticism, low confidence, perfectionism, and feelings of not being good enough.
- Stress, burnout and adjustment difficulties: feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, struggling with life changes, or finding it difficult to balance competing demands.
- Sleep difficulties: insomnia, difficulty falling or staying asleep, poor sleep quality, and the impact of sleep problems on daily functioning.
- Emotional regulation difficulties: feeling overwhelmed, reacting strongly to situations, frequent irritability, anger, shame, sadness, or impulsive behaviours,
I use evidence-based treatments tailored to your goals, including:
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy,
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy,
- Schema Therapy
- Self-compassion
- Family Systems based interventions.
I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Western Australia, and a Masters of Applied Psychology in Clinical Psychology at Murdoch University.
When not at work, I enjoy reading a good book, trying out new recipes, and keeping active.
